How I’d Decorate Around This Painting

You ever look at a painting and think. “Okay… this needs to be a whole thing?” cause same. I painted this during a very in my head but blooming into a new direction era. It’s hands down one of my favorite paintings I’ve created, so I wanted to create a whole room around it. The goal was cozy, creative, and a little dramatic of course.

Furniture That Matches the Mood

  • Neutral Cloud Couch: A soft base that balances out the rich colors. It keeps things light so the bolder pieces can shine.

  • Caramel-Toned Chairs: These mirror the gold tones in the painting.

  • Dark Wooden Coffee Table: To match the darker tones on other furniture in the room.

Accent Pieces That Pull It All Together

  • Sheer Burgundy Curtains: These tie in the deeper reds and make the light feel soft and cinematic.

  • Pink + Plum Rug: Pulls all the colors together in one cozy vintage moment.

  • Soft Mauve Throw Pillows: Bringing in a bit of softness without competing with the art.

Details & Decor

  • Gold Sculptural Vase: Because your decor should be as expressive as your brushstrokes.

  • Botanical Switch Plates: The tiny detail that says “yes, I think about everything.”

  • Soft Lighting + Candles: Mood matters. I chose a woven gold lamp and warm candle to make everything feel glowy and intentional.

Final Thoughts:

Decorating around art makes your space feel alive. It’s not just a something you throw up on a wall — it’s the centerpiece of the room. Whether it’s my paintings or your favorite art piece, start with what inspires you… and let everything else fall into place.
